The concept
"to hold and protect". A flexible and lightweight support system for mounting and placing the camera in difficult places. Designed to give a fast and secure alternative to conventional rigging methods. To give that extra opportunity on location and to protect the camera.
The function
First: Place the V-Bag approximately where you want the camera. Then place the camera firmly on the V-Bag and wriggle it into position. By wriggling the camera the polystyrene pellets in the V-Bag is forced to fit exactly around the base of the camera, or whatever device you want supported. (Much like your hand is held when you dig it into sand). Second: the V-Bag is evacuated and the pressure differential (see "The Power of Vaccum") compresses the polystyrene pellets so it "freezes" the current shape of the V-Bag supporting the camera.
The V-Bag
Made from high frequenze welded, reinforced PVC-coated Polyester fibre sheets. Combining air tightness, with strength and flexibility. The V-Bag is developed on the basis of the manufacturers (Germa Protect AB) experience with the Swedish Air Force and paramedic products. The underside is rough, allowing it to get a better grip on the surface. The upper side is smoother for easy cleaning and to protect the camera.
